Can My Aw .308 L96 Take a Supressor?

I can't seem to figure out how to unscrew or lift off the small cap at the end of the barrel. Sorry for the noob question, but I've bought a suppressor (barrel extender really) that's meant to fit this rifle but I cannot for the life of me get it on! It's the Hush XL
