Supporters Richard65 Posted September 25, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 25, 2012 Hi, Already got a G&G M4 GR-16 but with the arrival of UKARA am now looking to add to the collection as I have a couple of friends who want to start airsoft so they could use the G&G. Quite like the look of the ICS L85A2 and wondered how reliable these are. Would it be a good gun for woodland? I am not ecxperienced enough yet to start messing about with upgrades so need something that is good out of the box. Looking to the future are there any upgrades to this that you would recommend? Very good, although a bit whiney for my taste. However I was used to my ARES L85. Over all, they are pretty damn good from stock. The only things you might want to upgrade would be just a tight bore and maybe a new hop rubber. I've borrowed one before, very nice: accurate, good ranged and a reasonable ROF straight out the box. However, I bought the ARES L85A2, for the better looks, feel and the duller gearbox which made more of a "clunk-clunk-clunk" when firing, also with similar out of the box performance. Be careful though. L85's GB's are right next to your ear- had a few issues in the past with enemies not shouting "HIT!!!" loud enough!
