Alexb111
I had intended this to be a fix/workaround but my attempt thus far has failed. Note don't try this unless you know what your doing because Im not responsible for you or your gun getting damaged so don't send me a bill for medical care. As all clones vary slightly I've documented what I've done to try and get the empty mag indicator working in the hopes it may help someone else, see also some of the videos on youtube channels such as this one. Anyway, I started by removing the stock as usual and undoing all the screws and then separating the two shells (some force is required). 1) As you can see the empty mag indicator is stuck in the active position saying the mags empty regardless of any changes. 2) Watch out for these pins holding the stock together, break one and its a pain to find a replacement. This is just a quick pic of the part that moves when the mag is empty, once the screws holding the mag indicator in are removed you can see the spring assembly. 3) This is the spring, I swapped it over to hold the mag indicator down but it didn't fix it properly, it now doesn't move at all. Sorry about the bad quality image too, don't know what happened here, same camera... Going to try and replace it with a weaker spring in a week or so and see if that fixes it... Any advice from people who know whats up is appreciated.
