Good morning all,
I’m running a Wolverine MTW308 and finding the one common fault with inconsistent hop.
I’ve gone up to .45g bbs that are lifting quite well but would benefit from an upgraded inner barrel and hop/bucking
Unit, looking for advice on anyone out there using the 308 that have upgraded already and what they’re using.
Thank you.

I've got the Silent Industries hop unit, nub, and nozzle, with a 4uantum bucking and a 6.08 PDI barrel that I've widened the hop up window in. With that barrel it's not an efficient setup, and I'm only getting around 100 shots per co2 bulb at DMR power, but it's damn accurate.

Have you made sure your dwell is set right though? Stock MTW hop units should be pretty damn good, and I know I had issues with wildly inconsistent shots because I hadn't set up my dwell properly.

Thanks,
I’m new to this 308 and not sure where I need to check for that.
Is there any way you could run through it for me bearing in mind this is the 308 DMR Version set on semi only.
Thank you.
Steve.

Pages 7 and 8 are what you want. Adjusting the dwell can be a little bit fiddly and can take a bit of experimentation to get right, but if you want it firing as well as possible it's a setting that a lot of people overlook. Since my barrel is longer and wider than the stock barrel, I actually had to increase it a bunch.

You can ignore all the bits about full auto and rate of fire tuning, as the MTW 308 only comes with a 2 stage fire selector and therefore can only do semi-auto anyway, and you can ignore empty mag detection because I don't think there are any 308 mags that work with that, but the electronics board in the 308 is the same Spartan board that the regular MTWs have.

Thank you,
I’ll have a play around with that and let you know how I do.
Much appreciated.
Steve,
