WHICH UK RETAILER IS BEST FOR UPGRADES?

Hi guys,

After a fairly long break from any serious airsofting for a fair few years, my brand new G&G EBR has just arrived in the country... However, it appears it chrono's 'out of the box' at around 370fps.

Since my local site has a limit of 350fps, I need to send my new purchase away to have the fps reduced (and possibly a few upgrades) before I can skirmish with it.

So... My question is... Which UK retailers would you all recommend as being the most skilled or best at upgrading (or downgrading in this case) AEG's?

Price isn't necessarily the main deciding factor, but I want to make 100% sure that I choose the most technically competant upgrader, and get the best possible service for my new gun. If there are any retailers who specialise in G&G that may be a bonus!

are you going to put the spring in yourself etc?

or do you want them to do it?

I float between the West Country and South Wales, so I was planning on sending it away, but I suppose if there's somewhere I could drop in, that may be better...

That's good advice about firing off a few mags to 'break in' the spring... Although I'm not sure it would bring it down quite enough.

If still need to reduce the fps after I've done that, I'll probably get the spring fitted at the same time as the other bits.

At the risk of straying a little off topic... I've heard good things about Prometheus springs, so I'll probably go for their MS100 or MS110 Non-Linear (depending on what the AEG chrono's out of the box). What do you think?

Apart from that I'll probably just get a Tanio Koba 'Twist' Barrel fitted too, and that's it...

Anyway.. Your advice on recommended retailers for this kind of stuff guys...

but theres zeroone airsoft you can send your gun off there and get the upgrades done there .

im not familiar with welsh retailers sorry so i couldnt recommend any.

I used to deal with Zero One aages ago when they were based out of a house in Bournemouth.

I just wondered if there was anywhere equally as good or better for this kind of stuff nowadays..

Anyway, if anyone has any other recommendations, feel free to post..

Also, any advice on spring and barrel choice would be great.
