Thanks Ian_Gere, that's my baby, she has an M1000 motor, re shimmed and upgraded gearbox internals & a Prometheus tight bore barrel. Not sure what the hop is.
Only change i have made is to get rid of the bi-pod as the 5 position fore-grip works just as well for a fixed firing position. It'll happily give snipers a hard time for their money on mad-bull .28's and if they decide to play hunt the sniper, the M1000 motor is capable of emptying the 500rnd high cap stupidly fast.
Closest i can find to it is this : http://www.taiwangun.com/en/jg101-t3-ras-jg . It isnt a TM like mine, but for about £130 ish, you could easy replace the internals and be under budget of more expensive brands...

Y'know my mate Andy? The one with the beard. Who you must've met a good 10 times or so, has been using a G3A3 with RIS on it for about 2 years? Lol.

You always say "Y'know my mate Andy? The one with the beard." Yeah, i always know whom you mean. If i bumped into him somewhere without you to put him in context, i wouldn't know him from the proverbial adam, b/c unless a memory has some kind of emotionally charged significance to me, it's quite rare for my meds to allow it to take and format with my 'table of contents checksum' - if you get me. None of the chats i've had with him have been long or wide ranging enough yet...
...but yeah, I remember his G3 sat in the safe zone, i've just not remembered it in the field :lol: Subconsciously that may have informed my thinking a tube type metal handguard with top rail and some RIS elements would look cool on a G3... TBH I wasn't imagining what Andy or Zyras have, but a custom mod honey badger G3, or FAL, SA58
Yeah, I'd love to, but then i'd have to spank loads on mags, parts, sling, etc and i've got too much in the way of work in progress and wishlist to start a whole new project now. Thanks though, i'll take you up on that some time eventually i expect
I have a contact in HK who can get bits'n'bobs for a decent price usually, even if i can't find it in stock on an HK website, so if you're having difficulties PM me and i'll ask.
