Im looking for a new gun to modify to customise pretty heavily. Its come down to an m&p style pistol. Im looking for general opinions on both the we and tm m&ps, availability of upgrade parts, mag compatibility and so on.

When I had the WE version the hop doesn't work on any of the models factory fault, so just get a TM.

Depends what your going to modify I guess.

Generally, if you’re upgrading everything internal, no real point in buying a TM unless you like the styling factors on the 9L.

WE is awful even by WE standards. 

My main pistol is the TM M&P9 it is great except for the trigger which is garbage but can be replaced for the UAC one for £30. I originally replaced all the internals for high end aftermarket bits but put it back to stock bar trigger and trigger bar as it worked better.
