Did try the search tool and didn’t throw back anything specific to the question so hopefully th post is OK and not a waste of time lol.

I’ve had my KS-1 since last year but my first time getting to use it was the weekend just gone due to health conditions.

Out of the box whilst not completely terrible the hop consistency was incredibly poor. One shot still lifting at 50m on max hop, and the next one then dropping and hitting the deck at 40m. Turn it down a few clicks and then it hits around 35m before hitting the deck.

Testing was done on a marked range with negligible wind, using a .32g bb (unfortunately bio due to the site, which may not have helped).

I believe every now and then a shot was clipping the internal ring of the suppressor as it would zip to the left rapidly, but other than that most of the bb’s travelled pretty straight down the line of the reticule on my scope, it was just the hop issues.

So the questions:

1. Has anyone experienced what I have?
2 What, if any fixes have people tried that has an actual measurable result/improvement? Many YT videos point to their own upgrades but then don’t actually confirm if they are in fact “upgrades” in terms of performance at all, or just spending money to put shiny new parts in a RIF that aren’t needed.

Mandatory pic of build.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Spelling

First things first. Prior to you taking the Rif to a game day have you cleaned the barrel and most importantly the bucking? I use rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or muck that may have contaminated the bucking. Particularly when the Rif is brand new. Contamination will result in inconsistent and unpredictable hop and trajectory.

Second what Gas where you using? Idealy you want Silicon free gas. Because the silicon will also inevitably contaminate the bucking and course inconsistent hop.

Hope this helps
