Umarex HK416C Couple of Questions

I've just bought a Umarex VFC 416C but its not obvious which is the best battery to fit into the PEQ case, any suggestions? Are there any alternatives to using the PEQ? Also, does anyone know if it takes a pmag - I've heard conflicting views. Thanks

PMAGs wont fit without modification- get Emags, they suit the gun a lot better and will fit.
For batteries, PEQ is the only option as far as I can see, might be worth taking the peq to a local shop and sizing it up against batteries they have or something, if not, ask a retailer like land warrior who stock the guns- they'll know or at the very least be able to find out

They'll be pretty much the same price wherever you look, Land warrior will have them as will most of the other good retailers (fire-support etc)

Are you certain Emags fit, Marcus? I'm sure they don't fit either. I know for a fact they don't fit the G&G because I've tried it first hand, and I'm sure one of my mates with the UMAREX one (that's the VFC, right?) sold his on because they wouldn't fit.

I think for any airsoft variant of the H&K 416 you need to file the inside of the mag well down, or take the nubs off the top, forward edges of the mags.

Should do- emags were designed for the 416 and similar guns. I've got a friend who uses them in his. Granted his isn't the C but the magwell should be the same.
I'd have thought it's a problem just for the g&g (though why they made it so I don't know as it makes no sene.)

The 416 should have a standard magwell, but with a more square bottom- thats why pmags dont fit due to the ridges/waffling on them. Emags are flat so shouldnt have an issues?
