It depends on what you mean by ‘travel’Is it possible to travel with just the complete set of airsoft gearbox without using a hard case with locks?
Agree, I briefly closed an office block down when something I'd ordered went through the post rooms xray machine? If your going by air perhaps prepare yourself as the gearbox with motor fitted could raise some eyebrows on x ray scanners
When I first started playing I used a hard gun case with a padlock. I quickly changed to a soft bag as I found the case attracted more attentionI’ve never transported RIFs within the UK in hard cases with locks in 17 years. Just in soft gun bags.

Carrying RIFs in a fishing rod bag with an old fishing rod poking out the top would make it very inconspicuous ?
I reckon I’d be better at shooting the fish than trying to catch them with a rod!
Desperado style circa 1995Took me own advice, just ordered a guitar hardcase, something to put the AA12 in I've got coming, Chicago style lol
