TM MP5 NGRS Owners

I jinx'd it, it broke last week. ?

Cycles but doesn't feed. I've now ordered a load of internal gubbins to fix/upgrade it.

Do you have the original standard handguard, and if so, do you want to sell it?

I do have it but I'd rather keep in case wanting to return to stock

Since that's a Magpul stock and handguard at this point, certainly could go all-in and get the lower. If you search up images of that combo though you'll likely find some to see how it looks, the Magpul handguard is so good that it's almost the default at this point and a lot of people have the ACR type stock as well.

I've actually already bought it. The grip angle is more comfortable in hand, I just haven't ever worked on an AEG before so I'm not too confident fitting it. I was hoping someone would reassure me I don't need it haha

To be fair - I was nervous as hell about opening up my NGRS but as long as you take your time and are careful, its a doddle

Changing the lower will be really straightforward

My NGRS MP5 sneaky slut. I love this gun, shoots so well and works so flawlessly. Waiting on a longer VFC claw mount rail to move the optics back a little. 3D printed tail cap to fit the ICS folding stock, Prometheus barrel with 4uantum bucking + nub, M100 spring. I think it's right around 1j on 0.28s, sufficient for me.

Has a very "functional" pressure switch arrangement for the X400 clone, but i like it. The short rail section was machined to match the radius of the silencer, and a small screw is used to index it into the correct position.

Very nice! How did you get the 4UAD bucking to fit? Did it require any trimming?

*EDIT: Ahh ignore me, just saw your latest post about it not feeding. Sorry to hear the bucking didn't work out. And LOL @your comment + picture about it not being too bad to work on! I can't imagine doing upgrades for these things. Bless the techs who do this on a daily basis ?
