TM Hi Capa blow back unit

I'm waiting for the arrival of a  hammer/frame protection plate for my Hi Capa.

Am I right in thinking that the bbu on the 5.1 is not connected to the rear sight, but is only held in place by the screw at the rear of the slide? 

Or should I remove the rear sight first?

I'm thinking it's just a matter of removing the TM screw and attaching the plate with the new screw, which I imagine is a little longer.

Spoke to Mike Cripps and he confirmed you just remove the screw in the bbu, and fit the plate with new screw. No need to remove rear sight.

Just in case anyone is interested.
