Indeed. Upto 30fps increase usually!

If you are intending to increase your fps a bit, put a small bit of thin tape on the base of the hop rubber and/or hop unit. This will seal it, decreasing airleaks.

I don't understand where you mean to put the tape, GP. Could you show us a pic?

Here's another fps boost strategy.

I have it on my G&P M4. Basically where the hop unit ends, you tape it down to the barrel.

I will grab you a photo at some point!

All it does is make your gun more efficient with it's air pocket by stopping a leak.
