So like a fool after fiddling around trying to get my battery to fit into my scorpion properly, I left it connected and fully discharged it.

Now when I connect it to my battery charger it doesn't even recognise that there is a battery connected.

How can I bring it back to life?

Throw it away (safely) and get a new one.

You should NEVER fully discharge a LiPo battery.

So how is best to store batteries between games?

I play once a month with no more than 40days between games.

Fully charge them and store them away?

Store them and charge them the day before I need it?

If you're playing once a month then you should be fine leaving them unplugged at the end of the day and just charge them up the night before your next game. Storage charging is only really required when you plan on laying them up for several months.

If you find your battery is going flat at the end of the day though, you should either get a higher capacity battery or buy a second one and change over halfway through the day.
