The tM though plastic would have been more accurate to Colt Factory production as your Sia an issue 1911A1 so would have been parkerised. Though after its service life I suppose it could have been privately plated.. Not knocking your gun just needing out, enjoy you new gun.

oh I shall enjoy I do have a number of 1911s (10 I think ) all different brands and models! I do have a few of the parkerised ones to! But no TM. I just can’t justify the price of them

Bought myself a polycarbonate lens protector for my Maverick Gen IV. It had a kill flash but they kind of annoy me a bit but also didn't want to use the waste of time acrylic ones you put on the rail as they only last a single hit.


I got this from a shop on Ebay called Red Dot Engineering. He offers set sizes for specific sights but you can also do custom sizes for scope and the like. Reasonably priced, this one was £9.99 with free postage. Wanted to post here as its have found finding polycarbonate protectors to be very annoying. These have been tested point blank with a 500fps sniper shot and has not shattered. This guy has sold almost 6000 of these and has 6588 positive feedback (100%) highly recommend

It was too good a deal to walk past, I’ll pop picks up after the 4hr round trip is completed
(Mind, I say 4hrs, it’ll take longer as we are going in my wife’s snazzy little electric car, so it’ll definitely take longer if we want to actually get home -cheaper than my 24mpg 4x4 oil burner (and more luxurious))

Bought a Golden Eagle M8878 during Patrol Base summer sale for £126 but only just got around to posting a pic.

Swapped out the MOE type stock for a CTR clone and put on a genuine Magpul MOE-K grip as I didnt like the original grip supplied with the gun. Also threw on a a 5KU shotgun tracer unit (small part of the body needed filing down to clear the tube end cap but an easy job), and a Nuprol drum mag for giggles.

PTFE taped and tightened all the valves and it runs well, I call it the "CQB friend maker 2000".

So a 130 mile round trip saw me bringing this home last night
Cyma Cm.702 , heavily upgraded with AirsoftPro bits n bobs
Bought as it sits with scope & bipod
(Scope is a silly 3.5-10 x 50 waaay overkill for Airsoft)
Previous owner has finished it nicely in an FDE colour, which suits my tastes, I probably won’t do much cosmetically to it as I dont dig the leaf covered scrim look

I’ll hopefully get a chance to ping some beebs up the garden later to see what it’s like, only got 30m at home, so it’ll be a taster.

Oh snap, I got a 702 filled with airsoft pro goodies not long ago, I really like mine and it's different from the usual VSR/SRS everyone runs.

Grease up the stock adjustment screw as it gets a bit squeaky and stuff after a while!

Highly recommend a speedloader adapter too as the mags can be a ball ache to load.

The tridos one is best imo, novvy boi does his own for the ssg24 but I prefer the tridos. You can hold down the spring loaded gate and load with a normal pistol speed loader adapter but you need to have the right angle and is a bit of a faff. If you have or access to a 3d printer you can get files similar to the tridos.

One of my recent purchases was this:


A WE G17 absolute packed with upgrades for less than the cost of the 4 AP mag followers. SAI slide and W.E.T. barrel, Poseidon cyclops sights, nozzle spring, ice pick valve, exhaust valve shims, guarder full steel hammer set, springs and mag release, ML barrel + hop set and 150% recoil spring and guide. Came with all the standard parts, some extra spare upgrades including an SAI trigger that I'll be swapping for soon, a W.E.T. slide and hadron tdc outer barrel, RMR and multiple mounts, holster and lanyard.

Fucking bargain.

Definitely didn't just literally purchase a virtually new Desert Eagle for less than half price either
