Picked up a Chinese repro "Berezka/klmk" suit from whatever company they're calling themselves this month. I think it was Camofans this time.
Pros: price was very good at £45 including postage and uk VAT.
For a package coming from shanghai the delivery only took two weeks so it was reletively quick in the scheme of things.
It seems to be on good condition out of the package with no loose threads or open seams which sadly isn't always a guarantee.
Cons: the colours aren't quite right with the digitised leaf pattern been too dark compared to the original items but its serviceable for the price.
This one is subjective but the cut is definitely closer to a thin summer uniform rather than the oversized oversuits they should be.
Overall a decent suit for the price and reasonable alternative to tracking down originals.

Arrived today.
Yes, I am aware they are meant to be awful, but I like to find out myself! And it was cheap (well, cheap enough to take a risk on)
The mags leak like sieve, it’s heavier than dark matter, but it seems very nice so far.
Externals seem very well made (apart from the plastic bipod clamp, that looks very delicate). I’m hoping the internals are not made of cheese or a cheese equivalent, but knowing Ares I’m expecting a Camembert/brie level of toughness.
The bolt is steel at least.
A couple of shots to test seemed good accuracy over 60 feet, but longer range will tell. I’d like to at least put a better hop and/or barrel in, but again, knowing Ares, that may be a challenge.
I’ve previously had an Ares WA2000 that I tried to do the same, which was a nightmare.
I’ll update my progress if I remember
That looks to be my old one, had a mark in exactly the same place from the safety lever. It is very well made and ridiculously heavy and not all that skirmishable sadly. Upgrades are pretty much non existent and lots of propriety parts, it's why i got rid of it sadly, as nice as it was to play around with it is ultimately a wall hangar.
Takes AEG buckings and a 590mm barrel and that's about as far as you can go upgrade wise FYI.

Bought a suppressor & a G32 mag from Prozishop in Hk
Ordered about 12 days ago, order sat with no updates for almost a week, then it landed on my doorstep yesterday, seems to have been shipped by JK Army (going by the parcel tape)
I just don’t know how they can do items like this, machined so nicely for such little money. I do want to support uk retailers, but they are almost 3 x the price I paid for this.
Anyway, looks cool fitted, nice steel flash hider included

It's a bitch to get apart and get to the hop, I wonder if a tanaka style hop could be modified to fit as it's a similar feed system.
HPA tapping the mags was the only way people could get decent consistency from them, iirc the actual part of the mag that holds the bb's can be swapped out so potential there for only needing to carry one full mag and lots of the little strips for reloading.
I will say it does feel incredible in the hand and the grip is ridiculously comfortable.

I’ve been after the chrome/silver licensed trademarked 1911 for a while.. I have the WE tech silver 1911… but I’ve always wanted the trademarks! Luckily enough, please don’t judge me, BBguns4less had one… I had to do it. And in my opinion.. it’s beautiful.
Also, a lovely little real leather holster from AliExpress! I was dubious.. but it arrived the other day and i can’t fault it!

Just a few small bits for the shotgun (I'll put pics in the appropriate thread when I've got it how I want it) and a new hpa tank. £40 for a 4.8ci 3000psi tank with a 10 year inspection date sounds good to me

The tM though plastic would have been more accurate to Colt Factory production as your Sia a issue 1911A1 so would have been parkerised. Though after its service life I suppose it could have been privately plated.. Not knocking your gun just needing out, enjoy you new gun.
Always toyed with the idea of trying to make a commando valmat clone out of one of these

A cyma vss and an Ay sr3 made into an as val
As there's no battery space under the dust cover i drilled a hole in the dust cover to pass the wires out into a spare pistol mag pouch I had. Just need to tidy the hole up and its done
