The 'What have you just bought' Thread

damn Ian & Chock very very nearly bought some bits for Mrs Duck

(when a woman says she isn't fussed about xmas pressie that me sounds like she would love an AK)

very nearly bought a big big box but luckily they didn't take paypal and now sense has started to kick in

(or Mrs Duck would of kicked me in - but get New Year over and to hell with resolutions of spending less)

Good little buy there Chock

All I have on the way is some various wire for fet experiments

A proper silent cylinder head + cheap basic TBB (HelmetWorld)

few pistons (unbroken atm) - pair of armoured claw gloves from Gunfire + something I can't remember

another SHS hi-speed motor - fleabay but dunno when it will arrive

maybe one or two other bits but gotta stop this airsoft malarky - family want dinning table back for xmas dinner

(makes a great worktable but pi$$es family off a bit)

Cyma 030 G18C AEP

AEP Lipo Battery

Cyma 100 round AEP magazine

~£92 from Airsoftworld

Had two of these pistols before. Forgot how bad gas can be in the colder weather so this is my new sidearm when sniping. Lipo battery for the improved trigger response and the 100 round mag so I don't have to carry several gas mags - very rarely have to resort to my sidearm in game unless I make a point to :D

Shipping's going to take ages though, with Christmas and all and me taking the cheapest shipping option. About a week or two estimated, though I'm not too fussed since I won;t be seeing any big games till January and can still wear what's left of my Pro boots on smaller scale skirmishes.

Will probably send my Pro boots off to Ukraine to get them resoled and then continue using them,I need some decent stuff out there since I play mainly CQB in abandoned factories and shit, the crappy hiking boots I already have there do not help at preserving my ankle in those kinds of places

Here's a few pics of my new G&G UMG- my first RIF- which I took on 7/12/14 at The Fortress in Fife

1VCk9vG.jpg

The G&G UMG, with my VIPER quick release single point sling fitted. I was running it with a WE 7.2v LiPo and the G&G 530 round High Cap magazine. ROF was between 19-23 RPS (depending on battery charge). Mine chronoed at 300FPS (with an 8.4v NiMH) and 320FPS (the 7.4v LiPo) out of the box.

I haven't got around to fitting the included side rails yet (mainly because I picked up the gun on that game day and didn't have time to)

Me holding it before a game started. Didn't have my usual CQB gear on (a black hoodie with Mil-Tec red cam trousers). Didn't have an assault vest on either because I only had the one mag, and pyro can easily be kept in my trouser pockets :P

noiceee holster :-)
Yeah, of the ones i found it looks the most used and cared for, rather than just some tat left in a damp box somewhere or NOS. At some point I'm going to have to get round to distressing my Afganka uniform... before i'm too fat to wear it

For a sec I thought you were serious about that pistol - I copied the price intending to post something like "Gulp, really? For a fucking pistol!?!"

Fuck it - I was going to wait a couple of weeks, but it's all on the Visa anyway so i'll actually cough it up at the same time in the end, so I bought...

Nice... Only problem I had with the Tokarev was it being single stack. Otherwise it was a joy to shoot.

hahaha, even with Redwolf's 15% off it is still over £600 if I get my mate to get it to the UK, would love it but that is just too much money for me at the moment!

Cqc retention holster with belt mount for my g18c off eBay for £16.96

Getting tired of fathing about with velcro when holstering or drawing my pistol.

Update: 15/12/14

Also ordered 2x svd pouches, medic pouch, universal pouch and bayonet scabbard all in digital flora for around £30 from Frontoweic.

Got my eye on a surplus French army plate carrier as well (I really need to stop spending money haha)
