spare "complete l85 gearbox" off ebay £58 (nothing wrong with my l85 gearbox, but i want too see what the pre-engauge/pre-cocking is like, and a spare would be nice ;) )
Is it possible to get that with a fet as well? Or by altering the cut off system and rigging up a spring release?

i don't think so (but i may be wrong here), as its all done by the sector gear in this gearbox.

also please note this gearbox has a mechanism to release the anti-reverse latch, that is used to release tension on the piston/spring

Ah, i see

Also, i meant making the anti reversal latch accessible without having to open the gun. I know the g&g has a button in the mag well for that

I'm really not sold on WBB's - on a bench, maybe, but in the field I highly doubt their efficacy. But let us know.

ZCI is a brand. Amongst other things they do TBB's - someone on here bought one a while ago and said they would give us the benefit of their experience but, so far as i've seen, so far hasn't. Not you though, obviously...
That would be me

Unfortunatly I havnt been able to get to a games this past two months but will update as soon as I do

Yeah that would be a nice mod to have.

If you wanted a pre-engauge all i suspect (i may be wrong here) you would need is the sector gear, then just remove 2 teeth (as the G&G/Army has a 19 tooth "psg-1" piston, insted of the 16 tooth pistons in most v2/3 gearboxes) ... an interesting mod

A pair of Kings Arms speed loaders for me and my lad from ebay and some 0.25g BBs and luminous BBs and propane from Patrol Base, getting ready for some crimbo games!!

Arc'teryx LEAF Talos trousers in MC to go with the matching shirt (only about a 2 year gap between purchases). Like wearing the finest silks...

Haha no significant others so must be a ghillie.

Will start dyeing on tommorow after skirmishing, have stripped enough to do my hat, next I'll start on a fleece or t-shirt and then go into trousers

Use a combat shirt or jacket, that way you can wear it over a base layer. good luck!

Haha nice try m_p already had that one of my mate

And I might try the combat shirts only issue is all I have is a ubac so will have to spend more money to get another shirt or might just use any old t-shirt

Buy a crappy old DPM shirt on ebay. Will cost you around £2. Wont see it anyway if you do it properly.

Edit: Or get a flight suit and reinforce the knees, elbows, crotch and chest.

Yeah I might see if I've got an old green one lying about otherwise it will have to wait until next weekend

There are 2 MOSFETs which do pre-cocking: the BTC Chimera and Burst Wizard claim it for the new BW3 of theirs. I have one, but my PP-19 Bizon 2 has an electrical fault of some kind, otherwise I was going to fit it this weekend. I'll need to get to the bottom of this fault first, because you have to tune them, by trigger pulls in the right timing/order, so that instead of active breaking causing the cycle to complete and stop, an adjustment advanced in a few millisecond increments allows it to run on long enough to cock for the next shot. There is also a tolerance to judge to take account of falling voltage - if BWKK MOSFETs are anything to go by, I'm not expecting it to be at all easy to get right, but you can see why I'm not even going to bother until there's no possibility of an electrical fault...

But yeah, I've seen that L85 gb in action - Mark Walker has one, for those who know him. It's impressive.
