Got a little look around C2R Fast yesterday, they very kindly send me home with a virtus back panel and a bag of the Bean & Country beans, plus a patch in woodland (which doesn't seem like a big thing but nowhere seems to have any stock of them).

Looks like I'll need to save the piccies for later in the week but on Friday last week a rather heavy PRT Suppressor arrived for my L403A1.

Picked up a VFC FAL from HPA-UK last week. Nice replica but jesus christ the issues I've already had with it... 160 FPS drops (from 350 down to 150) within 10 shots with both the Crimson NPAS AND the default VFC NPAS, on top of that the mock gas tube had decided to crack (Assuming in transport as it wasn't as tightly secured in the box) on the thread which seems to be a common issue too... Now it's currently in parts waiting for a new inner barrel to replace the crappy aluminium inner barrel (Why oh why is that even a thing any more?!) and a new hop unit as this one was fucked upon arrival and wouldn't adjust properly.

Another £200 on steel parts to replace the poor quality of the chineseium they used for the barrel that attaches to the receiver and steel front sight/gas tube... Already spent just over £1000 (Replica included) and I've not even used it in a game yet... Thanks VFC

Sounds like my MP5K-PDW.

Its had 3 loading nozzles, seals, springs, magazines modified, etc

I don't think i've put 100 rounds through it yet. Usually i just get to unjam it and pick broken bits of BB out of its insides.

Oof I’m hopeful of fixing it… People report having poor consistency with them so at least I’m not alone

Ouch! I put a DNA outer barrel and gas tube on mine, and it's a nice weight improvement to the gun. Top tip if you didn't know - there's a cross pin in the gas block that you can only get to if you adjust it open (keep going - it'll appear eventually), which helps hold the gas tube in place. I punched mine out and haven't bothered put it back - I think this is the cause of a lot of peoples issues with the fine thread cracking, because it's really not obvious it's there until you take the gas tube out (and by that point it's too late and you've buggered it).

I planned on doing the steel upgrades anyway just not so soon... I'll probably remove it too when I get the parts haha. Did you get the steel gas rod (?) too or just the tube?

I got the full kit which included the barrel, gas tube and gas piston

That’s look sweet with a sublimated Tiger Stripe shadow airbrushed over it

I was on the fence for a while but in the end thought fuck it, every airsoft collection needs some colour in it. 
 

I’ve seen a Tiger stripe one already as it happens and it looked great. Once mine gets a bit beaten up from use I plan to do the same.

Got an upgraded TM M40A5 to fill the hole selling my VFC left. While it's a nice gun, the short pull and hop adjustment are nice and it shoots great but it doesn't quite fill the hole sadly. Plus mags are usually on back order so having just one mag is a ball ache as half the mag fills the feed tube.

I've put a wanted ad up if anyone wants to sell their VFC (will love you long time)

I recently bought this "as new" Classic Army MP5K PDW for a very reasonable price.

Work done:
Gearbox radiused.
Perun Hybrid.
Maple Leaf Macaron and AK2M4 red nub.
Slight reshimming (one shim added to the spur).
New spring.
New motor.
Charging handle system modified to allow rear wiring.

It is now shooting rather nicely at at 1.05J

I bought two more TM NGRS 416s.



Both got new handguards, but they're not quite finished yet. They got new barrel, buckings and springs. The 416D also got a red dot mounted on the side, and is waiting for an M-Lok foregrip, but will stay mostly simple.

The 416C had the barrel shortened by 30mm, gas block modified, now has a supressor/tracer and is waiting for a new foregrip to mount the battery inside, a CQBL laser module and a new stock buttpad.

417 got a new handguard, an Angrygun M-Lok which is soooo much nicer than the cheesegrater one it came with. Also waiting on a CQBL and possibly a supressor too.



Then i ordered a few more bits..

Barrel, gas block, gas tube, and various other bits..



I think that'll do for now.

Managed to snag a RIF i've wanted for a while courtesy of ActionHobbies boneyard.



Went to Tiger111hk and snagged some spare hop rubbers and a hop adjustment tool. The grip feels like proper crap plastic so will be looking into if anyone makes/stocks replacement ones that don't feel terrible.

Copped this off my mate for around £100. The (horrific army man) paint needs stripping and there's some bits and bobs that need fixing up on it, but the Seal Recce rifle was too much of a vibe to pass on, especially at the price.

Got this last weekend with the plan to rebuild it to the larger pb version but.. I'm Impressed with how it feels in the hand ( I have large hands )
