One of the few replicas I've wanted forever but never got because of the cost 😂

This now has an SHS high torque motor with a Solink brushless on the way, a ZCI hop unit with a Macaron and an Omega nub, and an XT M100 spring.

At some point I will probably fit the Perun Hybrid that is sitting on the work bench so that it can have precocking.

All of the Airsoft under folders are terrible because of how little support the under folder actually has. Unlike the real thing which is a full on bar (I believe, been a while since I’ve had a real steel under folder in front of me) it gets really weak over time and will end up failing. The GHK is probably the only reliable under folder (but still suffers the same issues) but also the most unreliable internals unless you win the GHK lottery

TL;DR you got a much better deal lol

 
Definently 100% ordered my LAST two AKs, two AK47 with milled style lower receivers and not AKM hopefully they will be decent when they arrive! Then should have matching AKs from each generation with either full or folding stocks from AK47 to AK12

 
it's a slippery slope, before you know it you will be making 4 AK74's with wooden furniture with the 4 different wood types issued over the years or making sure the AIMS side folder has the correct lever or button to fold depending on which version you want to model. 

 
I am already falling down that path which is why I am going to try and maintain self control.....

Funnily enough... I'm not an AK fanboi but I bought one so I had 'an' AK in my collection... I now have 9ish**

**if you count the dragunov, SVU & the AKM Masada. yeah kinda spurious but the point is it's more than 1

 
I've been tempted to put a Russian kit together myself, because EMR + smersh (also in EMR) is a vibe.

Don't have many Russian weapons though (I don't like AEGs or HPA that isn't fully self-contained, and I'm not shelling out on a WE SVD) so I would probably need to modernise my AKM, without totally changing the structure so I can return to old-fashioned if I need to. But I have to be really tight with money at the moment (want to buy a car ideally before Christmas and also max out my lifetime ISA limit for this financial year before April), but I've been browsing HK stores for TM AKM GBBR modernisation parts. I did resist the temptation to spend a couple hundred on a stock, picatinny handguard and a front grip.

I swear, browsing those shops is a dangerous thing...

I bought the King Arms wood conversion kit for my Thompson from patrol base.
 

it got delivered today.

In the packet was a mock Cyma suppressor, m870 gas tank and a battle belt. 😭😭😭

Straight on the phone tomorrow morning! Meh

Update.

Well! We don’t know what actually happened. Rang PB, they said my delivery was due out today after not being in yesterday, despite me taking in the incorrect order!? So we were all confused.

But it has actually arrived this evening!

I was also awarded a £10 voucher from PB for being honest about receiving somebody else’s order and collection has been arranged for DPD to collect incorrect order tomorrow. 
 

And both times the wife hasn’t been in ask me what I’ve been ordering!

Everything is well in the world 🥹
