The 'What have you just bought' Thread

What have i just bought? hmm.

Whilst on "holiday" in cornwall, we decided to go and find an airsoft shop. BR airsoft was found. went for a visit (great chap in there and very nice little shop too) and bought some of these CO2 granades, Hakkotsu apparently. Uses a CO2bulb and a plastic bottle to cause an ear splitting POP. I get that im probably about 3 years late to the party, as usual, but these are absolutely hilarious. 

Tempted to fill with bb's and/or baby powder... :D  

Got the 20+ year old TM G36C up and running, although i dont think i'll be skirmishing it anytime soon. Its a bit of a lump. :)

 
Went on a bit of a spending spree recently.. 😅

Bought myself a new plate carrier with some real Lvl 3 plates so I could run real weight (and just to say I have real plates... lol), plus new mags for my MWS, some of that cheap nightvision that keeps being advertised for lols... And then got sucked into the classified here and got an Umarex Glock 19 but then decided I wanted a 17 and saw a Deluxe/CO2 model, so now I have both, and a few extra 17 mags... As well as an SCW9, and went ham with accessories folks were flogging like a safariland holster, peltor headset, etc.

Also topped up on accessories and consumables that broke or ran out. I should prob stop spending so much, or at least stop buying guns and stuff and be smart about what I get... But I still really want some kind of shotgun, need a new combat shirt 'cause my main uniforms one disappeared somehow and my button up is ripped (and not very practical to skirmish in), and could really use some optics for the new pews too >.> And the soft bag I carry my MWS in sketches me out but hard cases are so damn expensive!

I love the Hakkotsu Thunder Bs! My tip.. don’t over fill with Bbs or powder ;)

a great bang to! The Pineapple ones seem to be quite elusive at the moment so if you come across them, buy, buy, buy!

I decided that during these warmer months, it was time to try a chest rig

Game changer!

A lot more breathable and cooler, less fatigue inducing too

I ordered a Krydex rig, a clone of the Haley Strategic D3CRM

(and with the patch, who would know any different 😉 )

A pity that Krydex store on Ali Exp screwed up my order , and instead of a 3 x 7.62 insert, they sent me shoulder pads!

Fortunately, the OSW’s mags did fit in the supplied 5.56 inserts, but made re indexing while playing an obstacle, as it was bloody tight, so used mags were dump pouched

It was a bit smaller and quieter than the last one, wasn't it?  I got this with five mags for a very reasonable price.

I thought the chap selling the AliExpress optics was a bit overpriced, he kept trying to get me to buy something because I'd shown interest in one optic (before finding out the price!)

Definitely not as big as I'd of hoped but some cool bits knocking about that's for sure. I got there almost as soon as it opened haha.

Gutted as I saw a PEQ-2 in a box, thought it was just a cheap battery box but turned out to be a G&P so didn't bother to check it out properly haha. Realised about half way down the A-12 what I'd done 🙄😂

Ouch!  That hurts!

I rocked up at about 08:45 and wandered in; I avoided the optics stall.  I think you bought the pistol from the same chap I bought the DE thing from.

It was the bench closest to the door (Not the suppressor people!), he had another pistol in a hard case 🤔 That's about all I remember haha 

I was very tempted by the NGRS SCAR in the shop though... Had to pry myself away before I made a poor financial decision 🤣

Same bench.  I didn’t know they had a shop until today.

 
I might have been having a drink Sunday night having a look on the forum 🤣 ( I know silly thing to do ) and found a WAS vest for what I considered cheap and it was 10min away. ( I will admit I didn't look to hard and thought it was a 901 🫣)

I now have a great WAS elite ops centurion

This boneyard (but fully functioning) Specna M4. I bought this specifically to do a HPA build but it seems to run really well so I’m in two minds about gutting it for HPA. 
 

No model number on it so if anyone can identify it I’d be grateful. It uses the old style hop unit and a Tamiya connector.  After a clean up it’s in great shape and the receiver and hand guard feel really substantial. I think it might be a very early ONE series?
