The 'What have you just bought' Thread

So, I did a thing...

The M16 above & it's issues were annoying me (I don't like a broken toy), so despite it being a wall hanger I've ordered the bits I need to get it working properly.

Complete gearbox (don't think the one in it is the original, doesn't fit very well)

Pistol grip (wanted the older style anyway but reckon I stripped the threads trying to force the motor in. A previous wiring bodge is prevented the motor fitting properly)

Ejector cover (securing clip is broken)

Body pins ( rear pin had lost it's securing bits & falls out if you look at it funny)

I've tested the motor & it's working so I'll await the postie knocking on my door but sure delivery will be the end on July.

 
I bought this barely used Well Pro WE06 PPK-20 and five mags for a very decent price.  All I have done so far is change the very basic mosfet for an AB++, fit a Macaron and omega nub, and fit an SHS high torque motor.  It is very snappy and runs nicely on 11.1v.

As they're seemingly becoming unobtanium, bought another Large size Nuprol Hard Case for the Scar, as it won't fit in any of my existing ones because its marginally too long.

Just bought an oil bottle for my M2

I always wondered how the sling & oil bottle on M1/M2 carbines didn't loosen & fall out during combat but after fitting this today I now know the problem would be getting the bugger out to use.

Tested this morning at AP; 1.09J and pushing BBs out to 60m.
