Another Aliexpress success. Bought it for Vietnam games to carry my long m700 magazines, because they're far better quality magazines and far more consistent than the stubby KJW mags, and they fit perfectly. They go deeper, but thought I'd leave them there to show the space and how they fit in. Very happy with this as it'll allow me to take a lot of weight off my belt kit as these mags are heavy (because gas gun)

With the storm grip, KAC front end and cut off bayonet lug it's halfway to an L119A1. Bargain!

So... I don't just collect pews, I collect webbing/fieldgear/ bergens etc. Had my alice for a while & got some Molle II in ACU/UCP last month so here's some pics of those.

This week I also got my hands on a DPM chest rig with a DPM holster for my plce & a pattern 58 water bottle pouch to complete a set I've had since last year.

I've been after a WE L85A2 GBBR for a short while but spotted this ICS Galil on Firesupport & figured I had a few L85's already but no Galil (until now).

Straight out the box the front sight post had worked it's way loose from the sight body so once it's 'zeroed' I'll lock tight it in place, the gas tube is a bit wobby so will see if I can tighten that up too.

Picked up a cheap WE MEU that had a lot of bubbles and wear under the slides paint, sent it to West Lasers for a burnt bronze cerakote and engraving. I wanted something unique, and after playing through a bunch of the Tomb Raider remaster the past few weeks it seemed fitting.

On a slightly weird tangent, i cant watch the Tomb raider stuff and lust after finding out that the main character was based on my sister in law.... ?

Seems the guy that came up with the idea had it nicked off him by the game company and he fancied the pants off my (now) sister in law. 

All those years of watching that little ass.... :lol:

On my quest to have a British icon on my hip, I have purchased a welrod 3d printed kit for my surplus to requirements AAP01 from @VonGrimm.

Have to say, it's bloody well made and some thought has gone into it. 

Needed a little adapter and a bit of a tweak (bolt release) and I'm 80% there. Just need to make the trigger housing disappear and make the trigger look like a water pistol now...?

(Mag base is a lesson in "what colour filament do I have in the printer" for me! Lol. ?)
