Just bought a CTM holster for the AAP-01, along with a replacement charging spring for my Specna M4 from airsoft world ready for first game back in airsoft in a few years.

Anyone know what the additional plates with the holster are for?

The "additional plates" are so that you can mount it on molle using a "malice clip" (which is how I mount mine to a battle belt). CTM TAC have a YouTube channel that shows you how to do this.

Of all the places I could've got them, Hong Kong was not a place I was expecting to find trousers in my size. Picked up the last pair they had on WGCShop anywhere near my size (only had Large-Long, didn't have any larger sizes in Long length unfortunately), but they're a bit tight around my fat waist at the moment. Good thing is they fit around my unreasonably sized legs and they're long enough, so all I have to do is lose weight and they'll be great. Finding desert marpat stuff is a nightmare already without me being 6'5 and chonky, so I'm glad I picked these up.

I've wanted a M320 for my G36K/A1 for the longest time - how's the plastic feel? Would be a shame to lose the bipod but it'd be awesome if it stopped my little venerable plastic JG sqeaking so much when you're holding it

Feels solid, only on a G36C at the moment.

They have a bit of heft to them,feels much heavier than the 320 I have for my L85A3 but it's a more modern design, more to do with the attached handguards probably.

I have a G36K set up as an MG36 with a bipod, I'll pop the ugl on it to see how it looks but prefer it as an MG36.

Honestly I was going to go full mongoloid and go beta C mag + UGL with the hensolt G36A1 sight because I hate ergonomics, light weight and sights that aren't terrible, just couldn't be bothered paying for the mag at the moment and didn't fancy the marui tax for the manual winding ones

So I ran the ugl on my WE G36K for 1 day, and it came off after the first game ? The JG needs modifying for it to fit, i.e the "pins" need filing down. It's a proper sturdy UGL to be honest, but just a lot of excess weight that I personally didn't like. Same with the L85 UGL, it was so heavy it negated the recoil of the GBBR.
