Somewhat unsurprisingly given the size of my boot collection, I have a pair of those; they are rather nice.

I’ve never heard of them before, it’s long been discontinued 

But I feel I got it for a fair price, Doubt I’ll try it in the wet winter as I don’t know how IP rated it is. But makes sense that it’d be most effective on cold days

 
The extra shifts I put in last month gave me a few extra pew tokens so I decided I need a back up AEG and picked up a specna arms SA-CO2 CORE. Annoyingly I had to wait for it to be 2 toned, only for me to swap out the fore grip and stock for black ones I've got in my spares collection. I took it with me to Epsom yesterday and so far I'm impressed with the performance and build quality especially considering it was only £80 (on sale at patrol base, was £110). The plastic/polymer/whether you want to call it frankly pisses over other guns in the same price bracket. I'm looking at you cyma with your melted down dustbins.

I also decided I was getting bored of lugging round a hoofing great deployment bag (which is far bigger than I need) alongside the gun bag on public transport so I bought a police issue body armour bag. It's big enough to hold both my plate carrier and belt kit along with extras such as ammo, gas and even a helmet

 
Local shop was having a thinning of magazines, and I’ve been struggling to find mags that a) fit my Umarex AEG HK416A5 and b) are a good price. 
 

Saw some of the Nuprol PMAG knock offs at £3 a mag, and figured worth a try. They all fit and feed flawlessly in the pew. Happy days!

Yep - they are rather nice, and these days, a little different. The double/single action trigger is a nice touch too, and would avoid those embarrassing moments when I draw the Glock mid game and have forgotten to cock the damn thing! Perfect for a late 90s/2000's UKSF look!

Got the G17 today. Had a mishap with the glue, more than I was anticipating decided to flow but I can clean it up. Absolutely in love with it, and with it being WE there’s plenty of upgrades! Just need maybe 2 more mags now…

With my Brother-in-Law and his wife coming over from Oz this weekend, he wanted to go shooting, however, my dive bottle is empty and out of test date, so no air rifles, so airsoft it is, which happens to mean needing a third pew. Not having much of a budget due to double birthday party for my girls, meant going cheap and cheerful, so checking my local RFD website and checking them out on YT for reviews etc to try to find best "bang for buck", I nipped into the shop this morning and picked up a Specna Arms SA-F02 and red dot optic. 

Have to say, for only £120, it appears to be punching above it's price point, with rotary hop and tight bore barrel (looks brass?), finish looks good and going by the various reviews, should be better out of the box than my G&G SM16 Raider, which I had to change the hop rubber and barrel for it to shoot OK. already fitted the optic and lense protector, so all I need to do now, is set the hop, which depending on B-i-L's schedule, will either be at our local airsoft site or at my woods, along with my lad.

If my younger daughter wants to take up airsoft, then at least we've got a pew available for her or even use as a base for a custom build.

 
Must resist the temptation to fit these straight away...

Think I should do some crono tests with diff weights BB's & get all scientifically-ish, means waiting till my day off next week.

patience is not a virtue I usually possess.
