The 'What have you just bought' Thread

How do you manage to keep your UKARA?

Now that my skirmishing days are over, I will lose my UKARA in March of next year.

That is why any other rifs I want will have to be purchased in the next three months.
You therefore don’t have a defence under the VCRA as you are purchasing without the intent to skirmish

On an administrative basis, retailers would believe you do have an intent to skirmish if you provide your UKARA details

Alternatively ..... what @SgtTalbert said

Yes, I realise that Tommikka.

I could join a re-enactment society I suppose,, but it isn't really my kind of thing.

Practical Pistol events qualify me for UKARA, simple. I play every week (almost)

Thanks for the reply. Good to know.

Or find someone you know and trust to just buy it for you. You’re an active member on an airsoft forum and over 18. You’re clearly not gonna be robbing a bank anytime

Thanks for mentioning the price & retailer, most don't, but if your in the market for something (& the price is good), it's helpful, especially as I've seen those going for £30+ S/H............ although that's just greedy chancers ?

Probably no point as anyone who searches northeast sten will find this.

But basically

300 fps on 0.25g bb using ultra Air gas.

Lovely recoil

It's built like a sten, so it it what it is. Personally I really like it.

Range seems decent but it needs bedding in. Will comfortably fire off a magazine in this cold weather on semi without any gas issues. Full auto is OK for short bursts but fails afterwords, but it's 3C so it's understandable.

Fires from an open bolt as it should, 32rd mags as per original. Hopefully Northeast will release an mp40 that takes these mags too.

The magazines have to be set to have a bolt stop function by stripping and re assembling with a pin in the bolt stop hole. That's in the instruction manual. It suggests this puts more stress on the gun, but we will see.

I will weather it very soon.

I have a pistol grip and a wood mk5 foregrip that was also retrofitted to mk2 models on the way. Strips exactly like the real gun.

I'm not a re enactor, just a fan of old guns.
