Sanded down the scratches to get them flat, 180 grade wet & dry, then 1500 to feather the edges. Left the rest of the original paint on

No undercoat and it will get nice natural wear marks.

Grips just undercoat and several layers of top coat

It's in great shape externally, haven't taken it apart or tested outside yet. 

Fires about 280 FPS atm, so am guessing stock, old style big Tamiya.  First thing I'll do to it will change to Deans and sort out the barrel wobble.

The one I sold was an A2 I’d had from a mate who’d bought it just before he went to uni during which he went to Aus and basicaly never came back (only long enough to sell everything he could) I was going to make it an A1 so got hold of the triangle front end never skirmished it but then wanted another TM recoil so sold everything I could . AND after looking at the appraisal pics I’m 100% certain it’s the one I sold , as the scratch on the barrel is from me trying to get a cheap’n’nasty laser off of it that had been lock-tite’ed on ! 

So I’m fairly confident I can say it approx 13yr old and up until 7yrs ago it hadn’t been skirmished at all ! ? ?

Like I’ve said all the time bud it’s not the grenade I’ve a problem with it’s the small minority of spunktrumpet’s who’ll miss use it that worried me about it use . ?

 
I am old and wise... and I can say that I am not a 'spunktrumpet'..lol  :)

Only in certain circumstance will I use it..mostly, probably for shock & distraction.  It will probably get very little use..but it's fun!

My first ever cqb game was with a m16 rental ? I’ll give it a blast because I do really like how it looks, I can always change it mid day 

 
Adapter has come for the striker and I’m not keen ? the diameter on the action army adapter is smaller that the outer barrel so looks a bit odd in my opinion. Going to order the ares one see what that’s like. It’ll do for game day tho, does make the gun a lot quieter ? I’ll post a picture later on
