I would love to get some sort of russian special forces uniform, but everything is so damn expensive or hard to get. DPM will do me for now!^^Yeah, the 800mAh LiPo I just bought is to convert my Vz61 Skorpion which is basically the same gearbox as the CYMA Glock - great minds![]()
Just scored a 1.9x1.5m remnant of KGB blue felt baize so I'll be able to convert easier to obtain Soviet uniform pieces into the much harder/nigh on impossible to get KGB Special Forces uniform.
These guys usually have a decent stock: http://www.rusmilitary.com/index.htmI would love to get some sort of russian special forces uniform, but everything is so damn expensive or hard to get. DPM will do me for now!
Yeah, it is. The stuff I'm talking about here is the late 70's - early 80's khaki uniforms - the officers' trousers all had a stripe of piping down the outside leg seam in different colours depending on branch of service: raspberry red = army / pale blue = air force & VDV / black = marines & tank forces / green = border guards, and you can find them on fleabay fairly often, but the 'dark' blue of KGB special units almost never comes up, but even when it does, the most common sizes are what we would class as civilian small/medium - medium. Trying to find almost any Russian uniform in 54-5 (38" waist, 44" chest, 5'10"-6' height) is a struggle, unless it's only been around for a few years, in which case you'll be buying bits you don't need, namely a sleeve and a trouser leg...!I would love to get some sort of russian special forces uniform, but everything is so damn expensive or hard to get. hmmmmm... mostly OOS IMEThese guys usually have a decent stock: http://www.rusmilitary.com/index.htm
Fair point, on closer inspection they're not as well stocked as they used to be. There was another site I used to trawl but I think it shut down. I'll look.hmmmmm... mostly OOS IME
although they do get some interesting bits in that you don't tend to see elsewhere
same battery you mean^^Yeah, the 800mAh LiPo I just bought is to convert my Vz61 Skorpion which is basically the same gearbox as the CYMA Glock - great minds![]()
