Nope as far as I’m aware (sure will be corrected if needed) they don’t make anything them selves  , there just re-branders .

So EA don't make Battlefield DICE do.

I does explain why some of their guns like the EVO are top shelf while other guns are mediocre. Good to know not to trust their brand to be reliable.

I was under the impression that the Evo is the only range of guns they actually make. (they claim that it is made in Denmark as opposed to out the far East)

this information may be out of date now though. otherwise it is just rebranding things, sometimes with some extra qc thrown in there if they feel like it.

No they "supposedly" had more to do with the design but it is still made by someone else.

To be fair ASG is one of the better rebranders as they do actually get involved in making sure things are right not just whacking a label on like NUPROL.

really, it says on their website it's made and designed in Denmark? although it may just be assembled there... see the bottom of the 2018 tech spec. although it wouldn't be the first time that a company has played fast and loose with the facts.

they do seem to get involved and care about their reputation a bit though which is more than a lot of Airsoft companies these days.

plus they import some interesting rifles, including my m40a5 even though that's actually manufactured by VFC.

I always understood that the Evo was made in Denmark.

I read on another forum that the CZ BRN was made by Kings Arms.

I have no idea if this is true or not.

Just to clear things up... The Evo is indeed designed in Denmark, manufactured in Denmark and assembled in Denmark. A number of small components are imported in, like bolts and shims. I've assembled one myself.

The CZ 805 BREN is made for ASG exclusively by King Arms. This is no secret.

The BREN was originally slated for release prior to the Evo, but the project was delayed, leading to the Evo coming through to the market first. If you would like to put "Evo Internals" in a BREN, I would recommend using the 2018 Evo cylinder set and an ASCU V3 Gen. 5 with hop unit and empty mag detection.

ASG openly use manufacturing partners to produce exclusive, licensed products. The Evo is the first in-house manufactured product but ASG are in the process of designing and prototyping the next in-house manufactured, licensed RIF.

Message from Ben:

the BREN was supposed to come out before the Evo but got delayed.

Much like many ASG products with various different manufacturing partners.

If somebody wants Evo internals in the BREN, you can fit the same cylinder set and an ASCU V3 Gen. 5

As said still basically a rebrander just a better one.

Very few things people buy are actually made by the company named on it so normal business practice though really, and not just in airsoft.

I managed to convince a shop to do a sale on the EVO to compete with another retail who was a bit cheaper. You can get it delivered free to a UPS Access Point for  £324.99

They even sell the smoky magazines( you can put picture inserts in these), spring guide and mil spec m95 spring to run it on an 11.1v.

Ouch, Druid! Too soon!

I packed it up and posted it off last night to get it out of my sight! One thing I noticed is the box it ships in is awful it's not tied down in anyway to the box so it just rattled around in there.

At least I wasn't going to use it this week /weekend still hope for next weekend getting it back better than ever.
