The other new guy

Depends on the model not just the brand.

The TM and the ICS are a good shout but again depend on models.

The Armalite is a style not a brand and I shoud imagine it's the ASG which personally I would leave on the shelf.
The problem is I'm not an expert and I don't know what I have to look for to understand how good a model is ^^

As I’ve said, I’m a big fan of the ICS. I hate working in gearboxes, but the ICS is a joy to work on. I’ve had a sportline that hasn’t missed a beat in years and I know of a few others floating about that have been perfect. Try fire-support. They have literally 200 different variants.
Basically this shop offers me the chance to buy the rifle from them, keep it in the shop and being able to use during my 3 games for the UKARA, that means paying 90£ less (they're asking almost 30£ to rent everything. And I believe is everywhere similar).

Look in the website and post links to what you are looking at. Then people can advise a bit more.

As said above ICS is always a good shout.

Good to know, for the next times!

Anyway, I've found just the ICS, because I don't understand Japanese, and to me seems that the TM doesn't have a English website and I cannot find any airlift section on the Armalite website. Hopefully the ICS is the same model lol I don't know if at the shop they're selling an old model

I meant the links for the guns from the shop itself which I guess is this one

http://wolfarmouries.co.uk

I'd get a longer gun, it teaches you not to squish yourself against corners :P

I all honesty, you got some good tips here, I'll just say stay light, cqb is where speed is really the key to victory, a proper high speed, low drag loadout will help you a lot (along with a carbine size gun imo, not those silly 10cm guns), so a decent but light PC would be a great combo of protection and real estate, get a few bangers (trmr with multi shot base), a secondary and you're set.

Boots over trainers, nowadays you can get some really lightweight boots at a reasonable price (if you only play indoor I'd not care about them being waterproof tbf, a good pair of summer boots will keep your feet dry from sweat and weight as much as your sneakers).

Cover your skin but don't end up like the Michelin guy, you'll overheat In a second and have a bad day..

Lol

The idea, atm, is to buy a MOLLE vest, couple of mag and...I think it's enough for the cqb to start. Light enough.

Full face mask, long sleeves t-shirt and gloves should be ok, so I won't be the Michelin guy LOL

Heating problem: should I just wear t-shirt and trousers? Or should I buy something else, for cqb?

Yes. But the links were already in my reply along with the models

I personally avoid doing what you did which was embedding the hyperlink in the words because not everyone realises it's a hyperlink lol. Posting a full link just makes it a lot clearer for everyone. :D

Oh!

As new "freelancer" should I buy a particular camo or it doesn't matter? What would you suggest?

Clothes: if you run cqb only pick what you're the most comfortable in, some run jeans and hoodie, others go with bdus..

Camo: same as above, in cqb camo doesn't really matter.. If you play outdoor games too I'd suggest to get something that blends in with the field you're playing at.. If not, take a look at the loadout thread or online to find what looks best to you..

As an example, for cqb games I run OD trousers, black/tan top and multicam plate carrier/belt along with multicam ball cap, gloves and lower face pro.

If I play in woodlands I just pick one of my BDUs (m81 or a-tacs fg) with multicam chest rig/battle belt..

I personally wear Soldier 95 camo smock and trousers with a black condor recon rig for my outdoor. (It works well enough with my site)

For indoor ill be switching to black cargo pants and a black shirt with the same rig.

Keeping my clothing nice and cheap so i can have expensive guns lol.

As a guy who goes alone myself, it really won't matter what you wear as long as you have fun IMO.

The point is..I dont know where I will go to play.

I cannot find a pinned one. You mean other people's?

Then wait until you find the site you like the most :) and choose accordingly

And yeah I mean the huge thread here on the forums named "load out pics/post your load out" or something..

Or go to Pinterest and type "airsoft loadout" with a few keywords after (SEALs, marsoc, whateverspecialforcesunityouwanttosee) and you'll get hundreds of ideas :)

It is not pinned.  Try using the search tool, which has a 3 character minimum length, and the term "loadout". Then read through the results. It is currently on page 2 of the Guns,Gear & Loadouts sub-forum

Here again. Hello!

At the end I'll go for the Wild Hog 9", some problem with the shop for the ICS and some more s**t.

Link: https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/gg-cm16-wild-hog-9-keymod-rail-etu-mosfet/

So, the point now are:

- Battery? people suggest the 11.1v LiPo; any model in particular? (on the forum a guy suggested a g&g one but I cannot find it)

- Charger? what made a charger good? what should I buy?

- Magazines? I saw some of them could not fit well without using e-tape and I don't want to pay 30£ each, not now atm. Any good option (with or without using tape)?

And last (but not last): any of you had the chance to try it? feedback?

Thanks!

Any tri leg 11.1 lipo will work and fit. Imax b6. Just use the hi-cap it comes with until you can afford some good midcaps.
