Actually, even if it isn't a chrome slide I would go for one just to make sure it doesn't feel tacky if you didn't do the paint right? Know one would be able to tell the difference either way unless they were on here reading this topic, also My mum makes jewlerry and you can buy Clothes that come with built in silver polish and I used to use them to polish the metal bits on Yo-Yos and boy do they come up a treat, I think they are called Svelt clothes and all you have to do is just polish it with cloth and you can get a great shine from it, also I would never use Brasso do polish things like that, it would seriously f*ck it up!

if it comes to the worst you could paint or strip the paint

TBH cam i have no f*cking idea but terp should strip the paint.

 
you know i should probably say now i don't own an airsoft gun so probably not the best person to ask, but if you go to a hardware store they should know
