Tectonic Innovations / Extreme Airsoft - Any Issues?

I recently ordered £400 worth of stuff from Tectonicinnovations.co.uk (20th Jan). I got a voicemail left pretty quickly to say that they were waiting on the items coming back from the annodisers and the order would be sent out on the Friday (24th). 

I had not heard anything by the Tuesday this week(28th) . Tried to call each day since, sent them multiple emails and not had any update.

Was just wondering if anyone has had any issues with them over the last couple of weeks?

This is a bit of a stretch, as someone who keeps an eye on their products (but not yet bought any), but seeing their "in stock" items getting lower and lower each month and a lack of social media updates I get an uncomfortable feeling (with no evidence, but it feels like potential cash flow type issues).

Yeah I can see that. I also watched them get lower which is why I finally decided to purchase. Worst case is they have another week to respond then I raise a fraud complaint.

Not entirely unexpected given that "they" (where "they" is likely to be one bloke) do 7 colours of a low volume item, so there's almost inevitably going to be times when they're between batches, or off on holiday. S.W.A.T. were notorious for that with the VTGs, and have cut down to one colour now.

But it's their problem, not yours, so don't feel bad about doing a chargeback. It's nothing personal, they've cut contact.

I've had a few bigish purchases from them, on the whole I've been happy with my purchases but my first one wasn't great, bought an L85A3 from them that appeared(to me) to be a resold returned item with a couple of minor issues, but on another purchase they'd doubled up my order(to their cost). However I've not bought from them since Jan last year so can't say if there are recent issues.

I finally managed to make contact via phone. I was told that they are having an issue with one of the manufacturers that they use for the firing mechanism. They were due the parts last Wednesday, but I did not receive them. They are due in again today.

I asked for an update by the end of the day regardless of the outcome (Get the part / Don’t get the parts)

Let us see if they provide it.

I'm not certain at all, but I think Tectonic might be a bloke who's notorious for being the worst businessman in airsoft. Has started and failed as many ventures as I've had hot dinners, often disappearing with people's money. Keith.. something, I believe. Someone here will have heard of his antics at some point.

As I say I'm definitely not certain that Tectonic is this specific bloke, I just know the last thing he started up was a company making BFGs. The taking of money and not delivering product with all sorts of bs excuses about supply chain etc fit the MO of this person.

Well at least they're on there despite what looks like some shady practices, eg a director resigning only to be reinstated a day or two later

I got no comms from them last week as I was told. I did how ever get the following email today.

With their history, I'd start a claim or dispute now, don't wait until they go under again, get your money back now, & if they actually crack on building what you originally paid for, nothing to stop you reordering when they can prove they're in stock & ready to be shipped.
