Tanaka owners

Any Tanaka owners I'd love to hear your thoughts. Are they worth the hype that surrounds them or is it just a brand name that draws people to them. They do look lovely in peoples pictures but £850 for a K98 on one UK site does beg the question....are they really THAT good.

I used a tanaka glock 17 blank firer a fair amount for some film projects. Jammed like mad, most unreliable pistol I've ever had. If it's the same manufacturer as what you're referring to, I just can't understand the hype.
