Just be aware or keep an eye open please , a brand new Krytac Kriss Vector AEG in FDE was stolen from the shop floor at Crawley Surplus Store this afternoon , it was from the display wall so no box , magazine , iron sights or Picatinny rail will be present .

if you spot anything in the next couple of days please drop me or the surplus store a line at [email protected] or call 01293525880 .

What a piece of shit.

Well, his face is out there now so it's only a matter of time.

Of all the guns to steal he chose the ugliest.

Suppose it suits him, the ugly fucker.

I hope that bastard gets what's coming to him.

Driver Wood has a boot sale tomorrow so it may be worth giving Gareth or anyone playing there tomorrow the heads up for anyone trying to flog it.

Looking at the state of him, & the size of that coat, he's probably a seasoned shoplifter feeding a drug dependency, the vector was probably the most expensive gnu on the wall, leading him to believe he'll get the best return on it, or maybe he'd been asked to steal it to order ?

Either way I can't see it filtering through to the mainstream sales for a while.

I am guessing this has been reported to the police - is there a crime ref number worth putting out in case anyone does come across it/see's him?

Hey, Spice doesn't pay for itself.

I agree with you, smallest thing with the biggest price tag. No idea what he was taking, just something he could maybe flog later (despite it having no mag, box, manuals etc so most players won't touch it), but might be in for a hard time.

As an ex-copper meself, I know the junkie look well and that, my friends, is 100% a gear head.  The local cops will probably know exactly who it is.  One thing though, I would be careful sharing images even in good faith as it can potentially prejudice the case against them

Images yeah, can be an issue without context,  although the video footage where you actually see him sliding it in to his trackies,  kinda speaks for itself lol?

I agree that criminals must be caught and punished and common theft seems to be at allmtime high. But just so you know sharing this CCTV and any images may be a GDPR breach and the last thing we want is a reputable retailer the community loves to be punished unfairly. Last thing you want is any subsequent leads being questioned as you've breached the (unfairly protected crimals) data protection rights. Or worse him having a valid case against you.

Hopefully local police will recognise him and actually get some work done rather than driving round in high end undercover cars trying to punish your average motorist at every opportunity.
