Stolen Guns - Essex - Please keep a look out

Hi guys,

Sorry I’ve made the error of keeping a few things in my car overnight after picking them up and meant to be going out today - stupid I know but can’t change it now.

Can you keep an eye out for any of the following;

VFC M110 SASS - has suppressor, scope, bipod
Tanaka M700 - only obvious feature is a woodland spray job - scope, bipod
Ares AM014 - PEQ, EOTech clone, vert grip in black

Will be reporting it to police just in case. Probably a lost cause but can’t harm to list them just in case.

Second rif theft in Essex in a couple of days, WTF is going on ?

Honestly? I have no idea.

Usually I wouldN'T leave a RIF in the car, but I picked them up from storage which was a couple of hours away and just had the “meh, be fine til the morning” approach.

Clearly a mistake. Reported now to police and insurance - no idea what insurance will say

I've seen cars that have been broken into for the change in the centre console on my street. If it looks like anything then a window is a very easy thing to get past. I leave my car with nothing on display, and nothing in it worth having, not even sunglasses or a sunglasses case visible.

Not saying we need to reduce to this however a while ago I had watched something where CIA or SRR guys were using the attached in their vehicles to make them less appealing

It’s a blanket with rubbish trash and just crap glued or down to it snd you literally throw it over the seats etc to make it look like a pointless target lol

I mean, I’m just as annoyed that they took my disabled badge of all things.

You just can’t have anything these days without someone trying to get it off you somehow.

Unfortunately not, they’ve been in storage a long time as we were homeless for two years so not had the opportunity to take any.

I do have one of how the M110 was built as it was on my Insta, but the others haven’t been used in about 10 years. Was going to service the M700 and see if I could get it running as it was a pre-ban PCS bolt. Obviously not anymore.

Was going to give my boy the honey badger, but now that’s out of the window too.

No, although I did see the other post mentioning that.

It looks like they have jimmy’d my rear passenger door to get in the car as I’m struggling to close it. Unfortunately because of where our car port is our camera doesn’t catch any of it - they must have came and left from the same end of the road to avoid it.

Honestly, I don’t know if they were just not interested or didn’t understand - but they didn’t seem bothered at all.
