Spring location help.

Is this spring in the right place,it's under quite some tension and has a habit of flying off?.I didn't take enough notice when I removed it.I  did google/youtube it to no avail.....Thanks.

It's an E&C gearbox, Ak2m4 have sold them for a bit he should know how the spring fits.

I know the E&C I have had that part but it was removed to fit my gun so didn't pay much attention to it.
