Spring Downgrade

I have a KWA PTS RM4 which as standard fire about ~390 fps ish on .2 out the box. I've just downgraded the spring to drop it to ~330 with .2 but do springs have any sort of bed in period? Should I put a few mags though the rifle before fielding it?

to that end, anyone in or near Huntingdon have a chrono I could quick use sometime this week?? 

 
Huntingdon in Cambridge?  You have firesupport just up the road from you, give them a ring and ask them if you can borrow a chrono, I’m pretty sure they will, heck, if your anything like the rest of us, you’ll probably buy something else while there.
