The Perun ETU++ is a definite upgrade; however, before replacing stuff it might be wise to check the continuity of the cabling and, in particular, your soldering if you have a multimeter or can get access to one.Hello @Colin Allen @EDcase.
So today I completely disassembled my ARP 9.
So looking at the internals everything looks ok.
So here are my plans after listening to your advice and tell me if this sounds like a good plan.
Plan A
So first of all I am going to buy the Perum ETU.

This hopefully will give me an upgrade then rule out if my soldering is the problem.
If it still does not work then plan B I will buy another trigger unit just in case it is worn out and causing all these problems.

Hopefully this will sort it out.
Please let me know you opinion.
Thanks
