Sniper help!

Hi guys, new to the fourms

Anyway I have been playing assult for a while now and need a change so I have decided to become a sniper, I used my freinds Swiss arms SA1 (VSR clone) and It was so fun!! So my point is does anybody know were I can get a Twotone sniper for around £200. I have had my eye on the Well MB01 warrior is it worth it? And before you ask I have looked at the A&K dravunov but is not in stock anywhere and the same goes for the VSR-10.

One last thing it must be two tone.

NO W700!!

P.S just saw the Well MB06 carbine that looks amazing but not in two tone

They are all decent stock guns under £200

but to really hit anything far away you are looking at around an extra outlay of:

Dragunov:

£100 for new barrel, hop up rubber and general maintainance

The VSR and L96 is going to cost considerably more:

needs to fire harder - spring

needs to not break under pressure of spring - sears/trigger group

barrel

hop up

piston

piston head

basically everything will be changed so..... £300 easily...on upgrades

I know this but my point is I can not find any in stock, just wondered about using a marksman rifle something like an M14? then piling on the extras. (anybody got an M14 fully upgraded for under £200? :/

the lovely chaps over at F+O airsoft forums have a thread for the Drags, should be getting a few more in a couple of weeks £130 delivered.

even stock M14's are probably the way to go tbh.

I play against one fairly regularly (completely stock) and he happily gets basically the same range as my M4 DMR (marui hop unit, madbull barrel, madbull rubber and madbull H-nub, plus a madbull spring for consistency) so it isn't like I havent tried to get rediculous consistency and range out of it, but when your mate comes along with a stock gun and is just as accurate as your £300 chinese clone (although I get maybe 5m more range than him) it can be quite annoying

M14's are VERY heavy aswell, so If you are a bit small, I'd watch it investing lots into a good one.

get down to your local site and see if you can have a feel of one.

Hop up unit is a more complex one that standard, but works better once set up right.

Also Just thinking of maybe not becoming a fully fleged wallking bush (sniper)

But becoming a marksman Maybe using something like a G36 (don't really know)

Sorry for the double post but I have just had a look at that M14 and I am not to sure about it :/

Mainly that It is the spec ops version and I don't really like the look of it

Still looking for a Two tone MB06 carbine not a sniper rifle but a marksman rifle

Anyone found one :/

But I was wondering when it will be in stock?

Just looking at the PSG on zero one until I saw the price tag!

Also I have allways wanted an HK146 but I can't seem to find one... hmm

Wow that looks good but I have just seen the SRC (are they any good?) G36C.

Yes, the SRC is a solid gun, but obviously it isn't sniper-ish at all :lol:

Yep, I know but I was just thinking of maybe leaving the sniper thing for a few years as I have just started at a new sight called 'Combat South urban' and they have a 400 FPS limit plus It is in an old fort not the best for sniping!

P.S Anyone seen any SRC G36C's in stock?? only seen an SRC G36C on a site called 'Solware' but it dosn't say what gen it is.

the cybergun m14 has amazing range (i've tested one). Red 1 airsoft can get you most guns and theres a free two toning service.

Red 1 Airsoft i recemend going to the acctual shop rather than ordering from online as its much easier because if you want a gun thats not on the website he can order it for you.
