sci fi guns

I realise that most of the airsofting comunity is about hardcore mill sim but I feel there may be a market for us geeks out there to create sci fi versions or even create our own sci fi guns from scratch I mean who wouldn't like to run around with a Bolter from wh40k? or some of the guns from firefly?

haha, the bolter would HAVE to be a 40milly MOSCART launcher..... WITH FULL AUTO!!!!

heaven (emporer) forbid anyone made a heavy bolter!

or you could charge around with 2 laser pointers on a broom handle for a lasgun... as the old joke goes

'What do you call a lasgun with a laser pointer mounted on it?'

i wouldn't mind the morita smart rifle, the G11 or the TAU pulse carbine or even the OICW

There is the odd kit out there but compaired to the rest of the airsofting world SiFi renacters are a very small group

And in the world of decressing money (unless you start making kits yourself) no manufactour will make something for such a small group

Its a shame really...

*idea for MOSCART bolter* you could have a magazine with two chambers, one 'live' and one 'spent', you fire one 40mm shell, then something pushes it across into the 'spent' side and the next shell is chambered from the 'live' side. Safe, three round burst and full auto.

i think its based around the Pulse Rifle in the Alien Movies, its a modified TM M1A1 Thompson

and 1 question about it, does it actuelly feed from the M4/M16 mag? or is it just there for show?

Would love a bolter, but unless I'm wearing techmarine power-armour, I can't quite see the point. It'd look silly, carrying a...rifle/grenade launcher that's nearly as big as me.

However, the two sci-fi weapons I'd really like are from Halo. I really love the M6G magnum pistol (from Halo:CE and Reach), something about it.

also the Bullpup DMR from Halo Reach. Again, something about the appearance is really nice.

Optic look vaguely like a 'sawn off' SUSAT, the overall shape and location of controls looks like a Steyr AUG and an L85.
