Royal Mail Vs. RIFs

Anyone used them before? I know that the vast majority of couriers don't want anything to do with anything gun shaped but I was wondering whether domestic packages get scanned like the ones coming from overseas?

The reason I ask is that I just bought a GBB Pistol from someone here in the forums and then thought Royal Mail won't be happy if they put it through an XRay and see one big ass gun that be the WE Hi Capa 7.1 Dragon.

Im sure they don't scan domestic parcels....they can't afford it!!!

i had my M4 delivered by parcel force about a year ago...driver didn't bat an eye...

That's what I thought. I mean it goes from Post Office to sorting office to local sorting office then out for delivery. Scanning each package sure would be a huge slow down.

some are 'randomly' selected, likleyhood (unless its stated as airsoft gun) is low. If it is searched and you havnt labeled it as airoft gun then you'll be in trouble. plus I believe the asia airsoft retailers stick copy of your ukara to / in the box?

If its coming from europe then there isnt really a way or need to label it as an airsoft gun as there is no customs form. likleyhood of it being stopped is even less. if it does you might just get an armed police team raiding your house at 5 in the morning.

or more likley they'll ask for your ukara details and it will be delayed for aggessssss.

it will probably be all fine though, nothing to worry about.

Having worked for royal mail, if it is a domestic parcel it isnt going to get scaned. It will be thrown kicked, dropped and pissed on. but by no means will they xray it its only when it comes in from over seas that they will check stuff with xray machines.

Oh yeah – I forgot about the PRISM scheme. The NSA can go eat a bunch of dicks. I'm screwed anyway; I'm a gun lover, a large government hater and I'm always looking into new ways of making homemade pyro stuff. I think that officially makes me a terrorist.

Not really. They are planning on banning explosive/flammable gasses so airsoft gas will no longer be able to be shipped via RM.

Wouldn't be surprised if they eventually ban RIFS like PF

There has not been a time after i turned 16 that I have not been taken aside at an airport and frisked after passing clean through the scanners ¬_¬

Also was called back after i passed through customs on return to the UK, waited at the end of the hall after my mum (wears a hijab) was stopped. They noticed me, asked me if I was with her. Then asked me to open my suitcase and another frisking... Seriously? I'm OK to pass through by myself but now i'm with someone who's clearly muslim I need to be searched!!!

But if you wish to sell a lipo, it must be connected to an electronic device.. i.e. a gun. Making it even more safe ¬_¬
