Red 1 Chislehurst closing.

Red 1 has announced the last game day at Chislehurst is this weekend and they are moving to Fawkham... I hope it's a brand new site, but I am guessing the old Bedlam Paintball site (Which was briefly used by Mayhem SE (The Kent based one) or they might share the Ultimate Wargames site. 

This is significant as both Bunker and Chislehurst have shut down in a couple of months, which means only three active sites still left within the M25 (And only just!) 

D&A Dropzone in Swanley, Tactical Warfare in Croydon and Mayhem in Abridge being the last three. 

Edit: They are site sharing with Ultimate Wargames. I assume they will rotate weekly, UG being on Saturdays and R1 beings on Sundays. It's a shame because Chislehurst used to be a bus ride away from Central London. Fawkham is two trains and a 1 hour walk uphill.

Not sure if it's still there as I'm up in Scotland now - but there is (or was) also Tactical Warfare Airsoft in Croydon/New Addington.  That's where I started out 12 years ago!

Never played there but I heard the site had potential but was poorly run (not surprising if the school was anything to go by)

Too much waiting around, poorly briefed games, marshals not knowing the game rules and terrible marshalling in general.

Glad I missed it then. As I don't get to play as often as I used to this is one thing which really annoys me. I've paid to play not sit on my arse.

Yup. Love going there. Really nice bunch of people and it's very family friendly.
