Recommend a hop

I had a similar thing with my Cyma VSS Vintorez, couldn't properly hop anything heavier than 0.25s and on 0.25's it has very low power (I think its due to UK power limits they install a weak spring for UK products compared to EU products). I tried different hops and nothing worked. What fixed it for me was a stronger spring, M100 or M105, now its got much better range.

Can wholly recommend the Begadi Fly 5 hop rubbers though. I'm sure i've got a Mag 5 but never used it, the Fly was just that good.
Aside from that, the Maple Leaf Macaron + omega nub has always been good. A lot of people are liking the 4uantum friction pro hop rubber but I found the AEG one too soft and performed worse than other rubbers.

The Maple Leaf Macaron and Omega nub are my usual choice, ideally with an XT inner barrel.

I've never fit an AEG hop rubber myself would you say it's an easy job to learn? Or is it a case of let someone who knows what they are doing handle it?

Couldn’t be easier, honestly. Plenty of tutorials knocking about online to show you the step by step process
The harder part is getting the hop out of the rpk, if it’s like the LCT there’s two grub screws holding the barrel on that needs undoing, it’ll slide off then you can tilt the hop up out from the receiver

I'll see if I can find a guide on YouTube cyma ones tend to be common enough on there. I'm sure it can't be any more fiddly a process than building Warhammer minis and I manage that well enoughCouldn’t be easier, honestly.
