Can really strong magnets mess up a GBB pistol or rifle?
If your planning on doing what I think your doing, which I am attempting to do myself, it depends on a lot of factors. Think I have it sorted to work on my sniper. But GBB may have a few issues, not entirely sure on the internals so can’t be specific.

I think that you are on spot on the thing that you think I am thinking of trying. However the thing that you think Im thinking of trying might just work since the gun that Im thinking of buying has no internal parts in the buttstock. So Im thinking of hanging it from the buttstock and I’m thinking of having a support on the barrel. What do you think?

Possibly, I was going to put dual mounts in the stock of mine, one just above the trigger and one at the end of the stock just before it’s just barrel, you have to even out the weight distribution and have enough area for the pull to actually keep it there.

I got the idea from watching Novritsch video on how to sling a rifle:

If you watch the entire video, notice how the buttstock is always on the same spot. I plan to put a mount there. And then one around at where my barrel ends.

Ha. I got the idea from trying to bring a BASR and AEG into the field on straps, and could not do it easily. Haven’t actually started building the  mount, but I know what I’m buying and how it’s going to go together. Just need to get the WAS OD Plate Carrier and I’ll begin the putting together.

Upload a picture so I can see what the finish product looks like. I know it can work. Look at this guy having a blast:

Where can I get an authentic Maple Leaf 6.01 Precision Inner Barrel for GBB 540mm?

The  stores that pop up on google look shabby to me...

If you're planning to do that magnet mod to a WE EBR, think again, you'd need the kind of magnet needed to pick up scrap cars to hold the weight of one of those things!

Anyone know where i can get a longer etiny ptw ecu to mosfet cable? As you can see I'm going to have to extend it and the motor wires to get my stock to fit.

Tackleberry (systema-ptw.com) could sort that relatively easily, though he's not cheap and his turnaround time is slow.

Can the MOSFET not go inside the buffer?  That's where it's gone on every systema I've ever worked on, not sure about the full stock models though, they're a bit niche!

Unfortunately the solid stock comes with this stubby stock tube that has a threaded hole for a long screw that then attaches the stock (see pic). No choice but to extend the wires or go for a different stock.

If you’re halfway handy with a soldering iron you could extend those wires pretty easily. Failing that just send it all off to Tackleberry and have it done professionally.

I'm a casino electronics engineer by trade so no problem doing the motor wires. It's the thin data wire that I'd rather replace with a longer one. I could extend it but it wouldn't be as strong.

Ahh yeah, the 4in1 cable.  If you’re not down to extend/replace that yourself then I’m not sure you’ve got any other option than getting someone to replace it with a purpose made loom.

Give it a go though, etiny MOSFETs aren’t really that expensive to replace (in systema terms at least) if you f*ck it up.

What do you call the circled part of the picture?

Also, are there any rail accessories where the bottom and upper part of the rail are btoh the circled thing?

The whole thing is an adaptor or a riser mount (depending on the type of rails)

They are part of a rail system

The top is the male end of the rail mount

The bottom is the female end of the rail mount, and features the clamping system

They could be the same type of rail system on top/bottom or they could be different rail systems

Are you asking what it is (as in the female end/clamp) or what type of rail system - eg Weaver/picatinny/dove tail etc
