I read this book, or possibly another one detailing what happened ?, but seeing it as it happens is poignant to say the least, while the whole operation was an obvious clusterfuck, no doubts that he deserved the medal & recognition for his actions.

on a side note, I hope his family in some way benefit from the revenue generated from the sale of the books detailing his heroism...........?
