Why blue Loctite in particular?

The blue one is easy enough to undo when needed yet sets hard enough so stuff won't move on its own. Loctites' strength varies depending on the colours.

yeah, blue is the least durable of the loctite family, if you put clear on you'd end up rounding off all the heads on the airsoft pot-metal screws!
