PLEASE HELP!

Hi everyone, last night, I decided to open up my newly bought gun, as it was in semi auto, didn't even have safe, and try to fix it, cross referencing with another gearbox at the same time, I just put my main rif together and the Specna Arms HAL is flashing red, I'm not sure what to do at all, and pretty worried now both of my rifles are ruined. HAL comes shipped in safe mode out of the box, connect the battery with the RIF in safe then wait for 3 seconds (for the beep) and hold the trigger for 5 seconds

What did you do to the gearbox exactly? And which model RIF is it?
