Piston wont release when trigger is pulled?

Hi guys, ive just had a problem with my A&K bolt action svd when reasembling it. I cocked the gun and when I went to pull the trigger rifle stayed cocked and the trigger went loose and can be pulled without tension. The rifle is still cocked. Help please?!

Sounds like an issue in the trigger box , did you open it ? not sure on the internal set up of the SVD but you will probably have to strip it again to get the bolt out, possibly by removing the trigger box. Then have a good look over everything and see if you can see the problem
