Pistols? Help

Friend of mine got one recently. He took out 2 guys at 40m in a dark basement using only 3 shots when his primary ran out of charge.

Yup TM revolvers are good and have enough ammo to do the job, bit of a pain to reload after the 24 shots though.

If you want something cheap then the ASG or HFC MK23 Socoms are worth a look. They're about £50, 28 shots per mag and come with an inner barrel extension inside a silencer which makes them rather accurate. They are non blowback and mostly plastic which is why they're cheap but that just makes them quiet, efficient and easy to maintain. The big downside is they are rather big so hard to draw fast and nearly impossible to find a holster to fit but great to pull one out when someone's showing off their big Desert Eagle :D

Deagles fit in Viper adjustable holsters (this design) so I'm sure you could fit the ASG- there's a height adjustable loop at the bottom of the holster for securing the muzzle of a pistol, I'm sure it could be modified to fit the ASG's suppressor/barrel extension.

viper holster are crap though, you'll lose mags, if not the entire gun.

Maybe for some but I've never had any issues in over a year of ownership, it's been able to keep a big 'ol desert eagle in it while i've been running about as well. It will stand up to many of the guns you throw at it.

A desert eagle is probably big enough to work but anything normal (1911/glockish sized) and they're a right pain in the arse.

I'd say asking about which airsoft manufacturer to go with is maybe a better question.

as for models...

-glocks are fairly versatile when it comes to modern loadouts. used by military, police, pmc, security etc.

-P226, as above, nicer but heavier.

-1911 is more versatile for guerilla and civilians... some yankie loadouts as well. 1911 also is very versatile for upgrades, not great for shooting thou.

-something like makarov or tokarev is also a great choice for guerilla or eastern armies.

-m9... think some yankie outfits? also a fairly generic gun in general..

also think if you want a rail. great for a torch, but makes your gun look more modern/western

Interesting...I used my adjustable Viper dropleg for my 1911 and I'm using it for my M9A1 without any issues. It's actually about the only bit of Viper kit I rate.

Maybe me and my friends are just special then

Took a fair bit of setting up, granted. And it wouldn't be my first choice, but it was cheap and seems to do the job!
