Was going to go this weekend but work decided otherwise :( should be there for the next game.

 
I was there at the same game as Esoterick yesterday. Did some gear slut poser drills.

Personally I found it shockingly s*** and I'm highly dubious about ever going again. From what I've heard after speaking to various people who've been multiple times it was apparently very much and 'off day', but personally I've never seen such pathetically lazy marhsalling and 'scenarios' (to stretch the term). Not to mention the most unwelcoming and unpleasant reception from one particular marshal I've ever experienced when politely asking a simple question about facilities on site in the morning.

The off days seem to be becoming more common. Going on a rainy/cold day is a good strategy as you tend to get the players who just want to get stuck in. The scenarios are normally ok though. What did they do? As for marshalling the site owner was on holiday so I guess there was a little less pressure to be bothered.

I'd have to agree with what CKinnerley said. I don't think I would go back again, i've removed what I originally posted as it was a bit of a rant.

Currently living in Nevada. Popped over there for a game.

Just had another event, this time a 3 dayer at George AFB, Victorville, CA. The AO was the whole of the old base housing. massive isn't the word....

Always hear Americans complaining about their sites but every one that I see is awesome. And I don't just mean milsim ops. Judging by Billiercay or whatever it's called (can't remember) it's cheap af like $15 for a day or something.

It's not that the US sites are cheap. UK sites are expensive.

Their milsim type sites look great on the whole. However i've seen a lot skirmish sites which are just a warehouse with a load of plywood walls and people shouting bang at each other because a lot of sites have MEDs....

Couple of shots of myself and my brother playing at Ucaps Sandpit yesterday. My lord was it a warm day!

What were peoples problems yesterday as on the way home we were discussing how we had one of the best days airsofting so far this year!

I somehow managed to avoid the getting in any of the pictures taken yesterday :) Also was on the blues.

First game I had zero problems and loved it. Second game however we seemed to ran into a different group of players and I got bored of playing the game of how many times am I going to have to pull this trigger before you call hit. I am normally very sceptical of my shooting skills and generally put the lack of hands going up to lack of them. On this occasion though I could see I was hitting people and several other people confirmed this yet there was a distinct lack of hands going up all afternoon. Someone else I was chatting too back at respawn was having pretty much the same experience.

The majority of the reds were good sports but we met the minority a lot.

Oh really? that's really strange, everyone I encountered on the day even in the second half (when you could physically notice people getting tired) were really good sports and even had a laugh with a few people and congratulations were passed round for good shots. Sucks that you met a few people that didnt have the same ethos as the guys i "met" personally I didn't even here so much as a grumble bar when I got shot in the belly button at pretty much point blank haha! (I moaned that it hurt but me and the guy had a laugh on a superb reaction to my shitty room entrance and his quick trigger)

did it increase fps? im looking to get one but wondered if it will go over 350?

 
mine is HPA powered but yes. My current set up (with hi-flow nozzle and 6.01 TBB) would run around 500 fps on Nuprol Black with a standard gas mag. With the included carbine barrel am guessing around 400 FPS as it is 3" shorter and also wider bore.
